Godox LDX50R & LDX100R RGB LED Light Panels
Godox’s new LDX50R and LDX100R RGB LED Light Panels look to be very affordable options if you are in the market for reasonably lightweight RGB panels that can run via flight-safe camera batteries.
1×1 and 2×1 panel fixtures have arguably become slightly less popular over the last few years with a lot of people choosing instead, to buy more versatile COB spotlights.
The LDX50R RGB LED Light Panel is a 14″ x 12″ fixture with RGB capabilities and a CCT range of 2500 to 10,000K. Adjustments can be made either onboard, remotely through an optional wireless remote control, or via an app directly from a smartphone.
The LDX50R weighs 4.1 lb / 1.86kg.
The LDX50R has a claimed output of 2340 Lux at 1m / 3.3′ when used at 5600K. While this doesn’t sound like a ton of output for a light of this size, you need to take into account that it only draws a maximum of 63W. This allows it to be remotely powered for considerable periods of time at 100% using two optional NP-F batteries or a separately available V-mount battery connected by an optional D-Tap cable.
The light features an RGB mode with four mixed colors, an HSI color mode, a Gel mode allows for a variety of 60 popular color filters, and 14 Customizable Lighting Effects.
The Godox LDX50R is now available for $249 USD.
The LDX100R RGB LED Light Panel is an 18″ x 16″ fixture with RGB capabilities and a CCT range of 2500 to 10,000K. Adjustments can be made either onboard, remotely through an optional wireless remote control, or via an app directly from a smartphone.
The LDX100R weighs 7.14 lb / 3.24kg.
The LDX100R has a claimed output of 4620 lux at 1m / 3.3′ when used at 5600K. While this doesn’t sound like a ton of output for a light of this size, you need to take into account that it only draws a maximum of 118W. This allows it to be remotely powered at 100% using a flight-safe V-mount battery that you attach to the inbuilt V-mount battery plate.
The light features an RGB mode with four mixed colors, an HSI color mode, a Gel mode allows for a variety of 60 popular color filters, and 14 Customizable Lighting Effects.
